About ChemOutsourcing

ChemOutsourcing is global pharmaceutical ingredients supply chain annual show focused especially on small molecule API development, intermediates, RSM, peptides, oligonucleotides and ADC’s. Founded in 2007, ChemOutsourcing takes place every September. This year’s show will take place on September 15-17, 2026 in Boston, MA.

The show is heavily attended by large and small innovator pharma CMC, 100+ exhibitors from 35 countries, and 1000+ executive level attendees from around the industrialized world.

Business Development is the primary objective of the largely CDMO and CMC attendee base, with 1000’s of pre-set meetings booked through the partnering platform interspersed with exhibitor presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and evening socializing functions. The show is geared for business development and also provides daily program content to help educate and guide innovator pharma executive CMC through scale up, synthesis, regulatory and supplier considerations. Our Founder, President & CEO  

Mark Alexay is the President, CEO & Founder of ChemOutsourcing. He is a graduate of Denison University and Columbia University. He launched the show in Sept 2007 after having held several marketing positions at Pfizer and Sanofi in the early 90’s. Subsequently, he pioneered over 100 diverse pharmaceutical events during the late-90’s and 2000’s. ChemOutsourcing is the product of these experiences.
